I don’t always find it easy to describe myself. As you can see on my website, I’m a bit of a busy bee with a wide range of interests. But in the end, it often comes down to the same thing: creating beautiful and positive things that I can pour my heart into. Whether it’s making music, photography, meditations, or turning a bus or caravan into a cozy space where I often find myself living, it’s always about creating something beautiful and meaningful.

 

Let’s rewind to where it all started. I am born and raised in The Netherlands, where I followed the "usual" path. I had part-time jobs, studied, went to the gym, and spent time with friends. But it all felt a bit boring. Towards the end of my studies, I reflected on my housemate Ed, the ‘eternal student.’ I was a serious student, and when I looked at his life – even though he took six years to finish a four-year degree – I noticed he was making the best of it, the best out of life. And I realized: that’s what I want to do too. And so, I decided to approach the rest of my life a little differently.

 

Step 1 was a single way flight to Thailand. I left on May 10, 2015, a date I’ll never forget. I left without a date in mind to return, although I never imagined that I’d never truly settle in the Netherlands again.

Since then, I’ve been focused on exploring and deepening my connection with self and the world around me. I did this through 10-day silent retreats (Vipassana), Art of Living meditation and breathing courses, studying the works of Eckhart Tolle and Joe Dispenza, and insight journeys through mushrooms and cannabis.

 

In my music, I share my insights, and I apply my knowledge in my meditations and mentoring sessions. And in my everyday life, because I try to live from what I know the best as I can.
